What is Xin Puente?

Xin Puente (信桥, "bridge of trust") is a connection and marketing service for Chinese brands and sellers entering Mexico. It introduces them to independent, licensed Mexican partners, coordinates in Chinese, Spanish and English, and helps them sell, including on Mercado Libre. It is not a customs broker, importer of record, certification body, tax adviser or law firm.

What does Xin Puente do for Chinese brands?

Xin Puente is a bridge between Chinese companies and the Mexican side of their business. The work falls into four parts. First, we introduce independent, licensed Mexican partners: customs brokers, importer-of-record providers, NOM laboratories, lawyers and accountants. Second, we coordinate with those partners in Chinese, so that you do not need to manage Spanish-language paperwork alone. Third, we market your brand in Mexico: Spanish social media and short video, Mercado Libre stores and listings, and visibility on Google and in AI search. Fourth, we run Red Xin Puente, a network of Mexican people and teams who want to work with Chinese companies.

You start with a free assessment: seven one-tap questions about your product, and you get an instant report with your Mexico readiness score, strengths, gaps and a three-step path. If you want to go further, our starting guide explains the steps in order, and the landed-cost calculator on the home page lets you test your own numbers.

How does the Xin Puente team work?

Xin Puente is a small team based in Mexico City. We work in Mandarin, Spanish and English, and Chinese sellers deal with the team directly through the forms on this site and by email. We connect and market; we are not a licensed party, and we do not claim licences, degrees or results that we cannot show. Property search for offices, warehouses, homes and investment property is part of what we connect.

The guides on this site are written by the Xin Puente editorial team and checked against the sources listed on each page. We state only what is true and we show our sources, so that you can check them yourself.

Why a connector model instead of a customs broker?

Customs clearance, NOM certification, tax filings and legal representation are regulated activities. In Mexico they require licences and carry legal responsibility. A company that does not hold those licences should not do that work, so we do not. Our partners do, they answer for it, and you contract and pay them directly. Duties and taxes go to the authorities, not through us.

This matters because the rules move quickly. Mexico's decree of 29 December 2025 raised duties on 1,463 tariff lines from 1 January 2026 (DOF decree), and the tariff schedule has been amended again since. A licensed customs broker reads the current text for your product. Our tariff guide explains the change, and we introduce you to the broker.

We may receive referral fees from partners, and we say so on every relevant page. You always choose who you work with.

Where does Xin Puente work, and in which languages?

We work remotely with sellers in China and with partners in Mexico, in Chinese, Spanish and English. Each language has its own version of this site. For property search, our focus is Mexico City, including Polanco and similar areas, and Monterrey.

We have not published a street address or a phone number. The way to reach us is the free assessment, the forms on this site, or email at hola@xinpuente.com. All three are answered in Chinese, Spanish and English.

What are the directory and Red Xin Puente?

The directory is a searchable list of Mexican providers in ten categories, from customs brokers and NOM labs to translators and logistics. Today every category is being checked and no provider is listed. "Checked" only means that at that time we looked at public records, licences and credentials, spoke to references, and disclosed any referral-fee relationship. Providers are independent: we do not employ, control, endorse or guarantee them, and you should do your own due diligence.

Red Xin Puente is for Mexicans who want to help Chinese companies: bilingual talent, sales representatives and distributors, marketing and content teams, freelancers, licensed professionals and local teams for installation or after-sales. It is free to join, and we check public details before we introduce each member; members are independent. You can apply on the assessment page if you are a company, or join the network from the Red page.

How do you start, and what does it cost?

The free assessment costs nothing and carries no obligation. After it, the paid plans (Mexico Entry Package, Mercado Libre Growth, Mexico Growth) are quoted per project, based on what the assessment finds.

Partner fees, duties and taxes are separate. You pay partners and the authorities directly, and we never handle that money. Our guide on selling on Mercado Libre Mexico shows what the Growth plan is built around.
